Informs: The combined knowledge and expertise of the Coalition membership allows us to speak to the latest, most current local, state, and national information available on the needs of Indiana's children, youth, and families and in support of our Legislative Agenda.
Advocates: Coalition members provide testimony, send written or electronic communications, or speak with public policy leaders about the Coalition's Policy Agenda. Click here to review the entire Policy Agenda or click here for an overview of the nine different legislative priorities. Most coalition member organizations serve children, youth, and families and our members are able to speak directly of needs and priorities to which public policy should respond.
Educates: To continue to influence positive change and public policy, the Children's Coalition of Indiana provides information and updates for advocates through events in the community that promote awareness of the needs of children, youth, and families. Especially, the Coalition introduces youth to information and resources that help them to grow in their abilities to advocate for change now and in the future.
